Summary

The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking an organised, customer-focused Contact Centre Officer to join our busy and friendly team. This role is key to providing accurate information and exceptional support to prospective students, employers, and other enquirers across multiple channels, including phone, email, and live chat. You’ll handle a wide range of enquiries, make outbound calls to promote College opportunities, and ensure every customer receives a positive and professional experience that reflects B&FC’s high standards of service.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a Contact Centre Officer, you will be responsible for:

Managing and updating customer records across multiple systems, ensuring information is accurate and accessible for colleagues across the College.
Coordinating with curriculum and support teams to resolve enquiries efficiently and maintain a smooth flow of information between departments.
Managing the College’s Live Chat service (Zendesk), providing timely and informed responses to online enquiries.
Supporting the administration of course bookings and payments, including generating invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
Assisting with application and enrolment processes—verifying applicant details, arranging interviews, and issuing follow-up communications.
Contributing to outbound campaigns designed to generate new business, fill vacancies, and enhance engagement with target audiences.
Taking part in College events, such as open evenings and enrolment sessions, to provide face-to-face support and guidance to visitors.
