Summary

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join our Children and Families Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

Thie teams aim is to provide quality protection and intervention for the most in need of protection and vulnerable children in the borough. This team manage a complex caseload - including Child Protection, Children In Need and Children in Care cases - and ensure they work in a child cantered manner with every case. This position involves offering support and guidance to others in the team with court proceedings and frontline assessments where necessary.

About you

It is essential to have a degree within a Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' experience within Children's Social Work to be considered for this position. Also, knowledge and ability to complete Section 47 and Section 17 are needed. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is required in order for the success of this role.
