Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Delivery Drivers (Cat B) for a well-known distribution business in Newport. This is a temp-to-perm role ideal for drivers who enjoy delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a supportive team.

Contract and Hours

  • Contract: Temp to permanent

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm-9pm

  • No weekend work

  • Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per day

  • Pay: £12.50 per hour PAYE / £16.20 per hour Umbrella

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a 2-person delivery team

  • Complete multi-drop deliveries of pre-built furniture across South Wales

  • Deliver items to customers' room of choice

  • Perform manual handling safely and efficiently

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid Cat B driving licence

  • Ability to carry out manual handling safely

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
