Summary

The Role

Join our Empty Properties Team as an Empty Property Officer, where you'll play a key role in helping customers move into their new homes. As part of the Sign-Up Team, you'll coordinate property viewings and tenancy sign-ups, liaising with neighbourhood officers, customers, and external partners such as translators, Local Authorities and support workers.

You'll ensure that great customer service is delivered whilst following processes. You'll also be the final point of contact before customers receive their keys - delivering good news and helping them start a new chapter. You'll be part of the team that help people move into safe, affordable housing.

This is a fully remote role with flexible working hours, supported by a close-knit and collaborative team. In this role, you will be responsible for booking and coordinating sign-up appointments, ensuring smooth handover of properties to customers, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. You'll be using Microsoft Suite in this role, so you'll be competent in MS packages.

The role requires a proactive individual who is confident working remotely and unsupervised, with the ability to manage their own workload and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) in a process-driven environment.

About You

You'll bring excellent customer service and communication skills, with a passion for helping people and building positive relationships. You're organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a busy workload from home.

Experience in housing, property coordination, or another customer-focused environment would be ideal, but full training will be provided. You'll also need confidence using Microsoft systems such as Outlook and Word, with an eye for accuracy and detail.

You'll be comfortable working from home and able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver on objectives. Working to KPIs and within structured, process-driven environments will come naturally to you, and you'll take pride in maintaining accuracy and professionalism in everything you do.

Above all, you'll bring enthusiasm, initiative, and a genuine desire to provide a great service to our customers.
