Primary SEN Teacher - KS2 (Lewisham Area)
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Pay: £170-£250 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Days: Full-time, 5 days per week
A specialist provision in Lewisham is seeking a confident and experienced Primary Teacher to lead a small Year 4 class of 8 pupils, supported by two dedicated TAs. Pupils present with a range of needs including:
- Autism (ASD)
- ADHD
- Speech, language and communication difficulties
- Moderate learning difficulties
- Moderate to severe expressive and receptive language challenges
The class is working broadly at Year 1 level. This is a full teaching role involving lesson planning and delivery-not a cover or pre-prepared post.
Requirements:
- QTS and proven UK primary teaching experience
- SEN experience in a specialist or inclusive setting
- Clear, fluent pronunciation of English (native-level or indistinguishable fluency)
- Confident in planning differentiated lessons for pupils with complex needs
- Primary-trained only-secondary-trained teachers will not be considered unless they have experience teaching primary SEN
- Immediate availability
