Are you an experienced and driven project manager looking to make a real impact in healthcare transformation? LSC Pathology Service is seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual to join our central team on a fixed-term basis. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of pathology services across the region, supporting the delivery of a high-profile transformation programme aimed at improving service quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes. The role itself will require liaising across all four trusts within the network delivering essential and exciting transformational change with significant benefits. Working towards the network priorities, bringing Pathology closer together, reaping the rewards along the way.
Working in a small team, you will be expected to provide cover for each other and lend your skills across all projects.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the host of LSC Pathology Service, which is a collaborative organisation in place serving the entire Lancashire and South Cumbria system.
-Lead the design, planning, delivery, and evaluation of pathology projects inline with national best practice and Trust objectives.
-Develop and maintain robust project documentation, including project initiation documents, risk registers, Gantt charts, and status reports. Monitor progress against project milestones and ensure timely delivery of key outcomes.
-Lead and manage multiple pathology-related projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
-Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
