Relief Care Organiser

Hours are offered on an as and when required basis

£15.90 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate

You will assist in the effective and efficient co-ordination, scheduling and monitoring of the Care at Home service using an electronic rostering system. You will organise and manage the work routines of a large, dispersed group of care at home assistants in line with the principles of the Health and Social Care Standards.

You will have the ability to treat people with dignity, respect and compassion and be able to demonstrate good planning and organisational skills. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and possess IT Skills including an operational knowledge of mobile phones.

Appropriate training will be provided for the role and be supported by experienced colleagues and management.

You will hold a qualification at SCQF 5/6 i.e. SVQ2, National 5, Standard Grades, O Grades, Intermediate 2, SVQ3, Higher National Certificate, Foundation Apprenticeship in a relevant subject or have a minimum 2 years previous relevant experience.
