Main Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Leadership:Provide strong, daily clinical leadership to the mental health team, ensuring the delivery of high-standard, evidence-based care. Patient Care:Hold a complex caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating risk management plans, and delivering specialist psychological interventions. Supervision & Support:Provide professional supervision, mentorship, and support to Band 5 nurses and other junior staff, fostering a positive learning environment. Multi-Disciplinary Working:Act as a key senior contact within the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), collaborating with healthcare, prison staff, and external agencies to coordinate seamless patient care. Service Development:Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of clinical services, participating in clinical audit and promoting best practices. Clinical Governance:Uphold high standards of clinical governance, ensuring all care is delivered safely, effectively, and compassionately in line with professional and prison security protocols.
