Main Duties and Responsibilities As a Clinical Lead, your key responsibilities will include: Clinical Leadership:Providing day-to-day clinical leadership and expertise to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-standard, evidence-based care. Patient Care Management:Taking responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care for a designated caseload of patients with complex mental health needs and/or learning disabilities. Supervision & Support:Providing clinical supervision, mentorship, and line management to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Multi-Disciplinary Working:Acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), collaborating effectively with prison staff, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care. Governance & Safety:Upholding the highest standards of clinical governance, risk management, and professional practice within a secure environment, in line with Trust policies and NMC guidelines. Service Development:Contributing to the ongoing development and evaluation of the service, participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives.
