What You’ll Be Doing (The Fun Stuff!):
As part of the Optalis team, you'll be a key player in supporting individuals with learning disabilities. Your role is about enabling, not doing! You will be:
*Community Champions: Getting out there! Enjoying local activities, taking part in events, and building confidence on trips.
*Life Skill Mentors: Coaching independence, whether that’s mastering a new recipe, navigating public transport, or managing a household budget.
*Personalised Support: Providing reliable and respectful care support, including personal care and managing medication.

This is a chance to support the delivery of safe, innovative services and genuinely make a difference in your local community.

Why Optalis is a Great Place to Be:
*The Optalis Difference: Work for an established, quality-focused company with a mission to help everyone - customers and staff - achieve their best.
*We Invest in You: Fantastic induction and continuous professional development - we welcome applicants with no previous experience!
*Competitive Pay & Perks: Perkbox discounts, a generous annual leave allowance starting at 25 days a year, plus an annual wellbeing day and your birthday off!
*Caring Culture: We pride ourselves on creating an enjoyable and rewarding environment where staff feel supported and respected.

Your Essential Optalis Requirements:
To join our team as a dedicated Support Worker, you'll need:
* A "Can Do" Attitude: A genuine passion for empowering people and respecting their dignity and beliefs.
* Flexibility: Willingness to work a varied shift pattern (which will involve weekends and bank holidays).
* Must Have Wheels: For many of our Support Worker vacancies, a full, clean UK Driving Licence is highly desirable to ensure our customers can access the community and achieve their goals.
