We have an exciting locum opportunity for a Drug and Alcohol Professional to join a dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) at Nobles Hospital. In this pivotal role, you will autonomously manage a varied caseload, providing expert assessment, intervention, and treatment to patients with medium complexity needs. You will be instrumental in supporting detoxification programmes and delivering person-centred care that changes lives. Main Duties & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored care plans for a diverse caseload of service users with substance misuse needs. Deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions, harm reduction strategies, and structured treatment. Provide crucial support and monitoring to patients throughout their detoxification journey. Proactively manage clinical risk, safeguarding, and complex presentations as part of a supportive MDT. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in line with professional and service standards. Work collaboratively with the MDT to coordinate care, contributing to treatment planning and review meetings. Practice autonomously, utilising strong clinical judgement while having access to team support.
