The Finance Assistant Opportunity:
They’re looking for a Finance Assistant who’s organised, proactive, and ready to make a difference. You’ll join a small, friendly and collaborative finance team that keeps everything running smoothly.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, but there’s genuine potential for this role to become permanent — the organisation is growing and investing in its people, and strong performance could easily open long-term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:
• Maintaining accurate ledgers and financial records
• Importing and generating sales invoices
• Managing daily banking and reconciliations
• Processing purchase ledger transactions and payment runs
• Supporting monthly reconciliations and reporting
• Uploading and processing expenses in Sage Line 50
• Providing general support to the finance team and wider organisation
What You’ll Bring:
• At least 2 years’ experience in a finance role, or part-qualified AAT (or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50
• Confident in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A positive, flexible and collaborative mindset
Bonus Points If You Also Have:
• An understanding of the NHS finance and governance environment
