Job Title: Graduate External Sales Team Coordinator

Why This Role Matters:
This role is central to ensuring our sales team operates efficiently and effectively. We are looking for someone with experience in lead generation and client relationship management. The successful candidate will support our sales team by coordinating appointments, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and reconnecting with existing customers who haven’t engaged with us recently.

Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional graduate to support our external sales team by managing appointment scheduling, support with lead generation, diary planning, CRM updates, and client communications.
This newly created role is designed to enhance the efficiency of our sales operations, enabling our salespeople to focus more on revenue-generating activities and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Tasks:
• Coordinate with external sales personnel to confirm daily appointments.
• Client relationship management
• Lead generation
• Contact clients to confirm arrival times and communicate any delays or changes.
• Manage rescheduling and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Follow up with salespeople after meetings to update CRM notes and record next actions.
• Arrange follow-up meetings with clients as needed.
• Coordinate with the demo team to confirm availability and schedule demonstrations.
• Pass customer requirements to relevant internal teams (e.g., proposals).

Weekly Tasks:
• Collaborate with sales personnel to plan and optimize their forward diaries for maximum client-facing time.
• Research and contact existing and potential clients to arrange ‘call-in’ appointments.
• Systematically update CRM records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support the sales team in maintaining strong client relationships through timely and professional communication.
• Generate management reports on meeting volumes, client interactions, and other key metrics.

Additional Responsibilities (as needed):
• Book hotels for overnight stays.
• Organise factory visits.
• Coordinate events, such as visits from our demonstration truck.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree educated with a placement year working in a client management role/commercial environment or proven work experience in a sales environment
• Lead generation skills with an understanding of howe to reach new clients
• Proven client relationship management in a commercial setting
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience in a sales/sales support/client relationship management role
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:30 & Friday 9:00 – 17:00. 1 hour lunch. Part time hours will also be considered across Monday – Friday (school hours)

SALARY: 26 - 30,000 –

HOLIDAY: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, growing with each year of service up to 25 days plus bank holidays.
