Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Street Cleaning Operative to join our team in Gloucester. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining clean and safe public spaces across the city.

Key Responsibilities:

• Litter picking and emptying public litter bins

  
  

• Weed removal and clearing fallen leaves

  
  

• Collection and safe disposal of fly-tipped waste and other hazardous materials

  
  

• Driving a 3.5-tonne Transit van to and from designated routes (valid UK driving license required)

  
  

• Following daily collection schedules and working as part of a mobile or static team

  
  

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions

  
  Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving licence (required to drive a 3.5T Transit van)

    
    

  • Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work

    
    

  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions

    
    

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a small team

    
    

  • Previous experience in street cleansing, grounds maintenance or a similar role is beneficial but not essential
