Summary
A warm and welcoming family in Esher is seeking a proactive and experienced full-time Housekeeper Nanny to help manage their busy household. The family has four school-aged children and three friendly pets, and the home runs smoothly but would benefit from an organised and capable extra pair of hands. This long-term role is ideal for someone reliable, independent, and kind-hearted who can maintain the home to a high standard and support family life practically and calmly. The position starts in January 2026, and an orientation period in December would be appreciated if possible.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping – approx. 85% of role:
• Daily housekeeping for a five-bedroom, six-bathroom family home
• Cleaning, tidying, vacuuming, and maintaining high standards across the home
• Family laundry, folding, and changing bed linen
• Organising household spaces and keeping communal areas tidy
• Accepting grocery deliveries and unpacking supplies
• Running errands such as parcel drop-offs and dry cleaning
• Cooking children’s meals once or twice per week and batch preparing meals for the freezer
• Walking the family dogs daily (30–40 minutes)
Childcare – approx. 15% of role:
• Morning school runs and afternoon pick-ups
• Providing a calm, supportive presence before and after school
• Helping maintain routines and encouraging good manners and organisation
Requirements
• Previous experience in a private household in a similar role
• Confident driver with own car
• Warm, discreet, and trustworthy
• Able to use initiative and work with minimal instruction
• Organised and comfortable around children and pets
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a well-run home
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate (required)
