Deputy Designated Safeguarding LeadScale 6 Point 18 - 22 (£31,537 - £33,699) £28,663.95 - £30,628.99 FTE37 hrs per week, Term Time Plus Two WeeksStart Date - As soon as possibleThe Joseph Whitaker School is a popular 11-18 school, in Rainworth, a village just outside of Mansfield. It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1300 students.We are looking for a pro-active and enthusiastic Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead who will provide safeguarding leadership support. The successful applicant will work with the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and Student Support to address mental health needs and safeguarding matters. Experience of working with young people in a school, or social care, setting is desirable; appropriate training will be given to the successful candidate.We have extremely high expectations of our students and staff, and we offer excellent training and professional development opportunities.
