Pre-Award Support Officer

Applications are invited for the above full-time permanent post working in the Pre-award team in the Research, Enterprise and Development Directorate (REDD), supporting the delivery of the busy pre-award service. This will involve working closely with the Pre-award Research Development Manager and the Research Development Officer team and working directly with academics across the institution.

The role holder will be responsible for the successful administration of projects which require central support. This will involve working with the Research Development Officers, academics and other key individual across the University. As well as focussing on specific project deliverables the postholder will be expected to provide administrative support for operational procedures in REDD, as required.

Candidates should be educated to GCSE level (inc. Maths and English) or equivalent and have experience of working within an office /administrative environment.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.  This role will be located on campus at Bangor.

Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
