Position: We are seeking a Registry & Admission Officer with a focus on Admissions to be based at our Fort William, Thurso or Stornoway campus.
Responsibilities: The post holders will be responsible for ensuring the admissions system is set up correctly for academic staff. You will accurately record applications through the student records system, coordinate the interview and selection process, process decisions in a timely manner and monitor and meet UCAS deadlines.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills: The suitable candidates will hold a relevant qualification in the subject area - at minimum SCQF Level 7 or equivalent. You will have experience extracting and presenting information from reports, electronic record systems and of working as part of a team. You should have excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills. Knowledge of UCAS, application and enrolment processes within an academic institution would be advantageous.
A level of Gaelic ability would be advantageous to your application.
Salary: £28,453 - £29,753 per annum, pro rata, plus Islands Allowance if based at Stornoway
Location: Fort William, Thurso or Stornoway
Working Hours: 25 hours, Permanent
Monday & Tuesday – 9am – 2pm
Wednesday to Friday – 12noon – 5pm
Closing Date: 12 noon, Tuesday 28th October 2025
