Velox Social Care is currently recruiting dedicated Support Workers across the Devon area, including Exeter, Taunton, Exmouth, Torquay, Plymouth to provide high-quality, person-centred care to Children and Young People (CYP) in structured residential or community-based settings.

Your Role
As a CYP Support Worker, you will:
- Provide emotional and practical support to young people
- Encourage positive behaviour and personal development
- Maintain detailed daily logs and reports
- Communicate effectively with your team, management, and external agencies
- Work a mix of long and short shifts, including days and nights, depending on the needs of the Child or Young Person.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- The Right to Work in the UK (No sponsorship available)
- 6+ months UK experience in a similar CYP setting
- 3 references (2 professional, 1 character)
- An in-date Physical Intervention Certificate (Or willing to undertake Team Teach Level 2)
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
- Note: We are particularly interested in candidates who are drivers, as we have regular transport shifts available in the area.
- Flexibility is essential as some CYPs require a mix of both long and short shifts, including evenings and weekends.
