Summary
We’re hiring General Operatives & Sprayers at Barnham
Join a well-established manufacturing client in Barnham, that specialises in wood products.
Position Overview:
Role: General Operatives & Sprayers
Location: Barnham, Thetford, IP24
Full-time, ongoing Temp to Perm opportunity offering stability, training, and room to grow.
Shift: Monday to Friday – Day shift, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Pay rates:
• General Operatives – £12.60 per hour + holiday accrual
• Sprayers – £13.00 per hour + holiday accrual
You’ll be part of a friendly production team working with wood materials to create quality products. This is a hands-on role in a clean, organised workshop environment where teamwork and attention to detail matter.
Key responsibilities:
• Using hand and power tools to assemble or finish wooden components
• Spraying and preparing wood surfaces (for sprayer roles)
• Quality checking finished products
• Keeping the work area tidy and following health and safety standards
• Supporting team members to meet production targets
Requirements:
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to use basic tools
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• No previous experience required – full training provided
