Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to all transport regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company trucks to deliver goods to customers and business locations
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Follow all road safety and transport regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV/LGV driving licence (Category C or C+E)
- Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and traffic laws
- Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading
- Strong time management and communication skills
Desirable
- Forklift licence (optional)
- Experience with refrigerated or multi-drop deliveries
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
