Summary

Level 3 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant - Early Years Provision (Little Lever)

Location: Little Lever, Bolton
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: ASAP or after October half term
Salary: £85-£105 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years Practitioner with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We're working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Little Lever who are seeking a Level 3 EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years provision, supporting children with EHCPs and additional learning needs.

This is a rewarding, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a setting where every small step counts, helping children develop confidence, communication, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Support a small group of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Speech & Language delays, and Social and Emotional mental health.

Work closely with the Class Teacher and SENDCo to implement strategies outlined in each child's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Deliver targeted interventions to support communication, sensory regulation, and early learning goals

About You
-
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or Supporting Teaching and Learning (essential)

Experience working within an EYFS setting and supporting children with SEN and EHCPs

Good understanding of EYFS frameworks, individualised learning, and inclusive practice

Experience with visual aids, Makaton, or PECS would be advantageous
