Summary
Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders across Debt Management and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), with the goal of empowering Operational Leaders to make informed, evidence-based decisions that enhance customer service and organisational performance.
The role may also encompass line management duties, such as supporting and developing team members, conducting regular one-to-one meetings, and overseeing performance and wellbeing. Fostering an inclusive and cooperative team culture, providing guidance on professional development, and ensuring objectives are clearly communicated and met will be expected.
As the Business Delivery, Performance and Change Manager for Debt Management (DM), you will lead your team in delivering multiple high-profile initiatives aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
You will be involved in projects and programmes that impact both colleagues and customers, working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation and adoption of change throughout the department.

- Lead day-to-day planning and analysis by reviewing past performance and forecasting trends.
- Collaborate across business areas and grades to enhance service delivery in Debt Management.
- Ensure colleagues are well-informed on priorities and developments; and actively engage with stakeholders to support and embrace change.
- Support the senior leader in sharing/presenting findings and recommendations from data analysis to stakeholders across different business areas and grades.
- Embed performance improvements by sharing best practice across teams.
- Escalate priority issues by capturing business impacts.
- Impact proposed changes on the business, identifying potential changes to processes and/or staffing needs.
- Identify and work with DM colleagues to provide relevant expertise.
- Regular liaison with external stakeholders, representing Debt Managements’ impacts and requirements to ensure solutions meet the business needs.
- Proactively seeking innovative, creative solutions; ensuring strategies such as full automation are embedded in design thinking.
- Consistently pursue opportunities to innovate across all areas.
- Manage change through its full lifecycle to successful delivery, incorporating post-implementation reviews to capture and apply lessons learned.
Due to the geographically dispersed nature of this team, this role will require occasional travel and overnight stays.
