Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and ready to make a meaningful difference in a nurturing early years setting?

Long Term Futures is working in close partnership with a warm, welcoming OFSTED 'Good' primary school in Rugby, seeking multiple SEN Teaching Assistants for long-term roles with the potential to go permanent. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community where every child's needs are understood and met.

Two Exciting Roles Available in School
- EYFS - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Support a child in Reception with a diagnosis of Down's Syndrome and ASD. This child has an EHCP and presents with communication needs. You'll follow a play-based approach to help them access the EYFS curriculum, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide nurturing, consistent support.
- Reception/Nursery - Blended Support Role
Split between Nursery and Reception, this role supports general needs in Nursery and provides targeted support for two children in Reception with EHCPs (Down's Syndrome and ASD with no verbal communication).

We're Looking for Candidates Who:
- Have experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, Down's Syndrome, or communication needs
- Are comfortable working in EYFS and/or KS1 with children accessing learning through play
- Can adapt support strategies to suit different developmental levels and EHCP requirements
- Are patient, nurturing, and consistent in their approach
- Can work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Hold a relevant qualification such as CACHE Level 2/3, TA Certificate, or a degree in Early Years, Psychology or a related field - although experience will be equally valued

About the school:
- Two-form entry primary school
- Part of a supportive Multi-Academy Trust
- OFSTED rated 'Good'
- Committed to inclusive and nurturing practices
- Forest School and outdoor learning provision
- Accessible by public transport
