Are you caring, organised, and looking to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? I am seeking a Part-Time Care Assistant to support a household in Norton, Stockton-on-Tees, providing practical help and compassionate support.

Hours:
8 hours per week

• Monday: 3 hours
• Wednesday: 2 hours
• Friday: 3 hours

Some flexibility with hours which can be discussed at interview.

Pay Rate:
£12.21 per hour

Contract Type:
Part-time, permanent

Responsibilities: You will support with:

• General cleaning and household organisation
• Ironing and laundry
• Meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and errands

There are two children in the home with autism and ADHD, so we’re looking for someone who:

• Is understanding, accepting, and supportive of neurodiversity
• Can recognise and respond to potential challenges with empathy
• Is non-judgemental, calm, and patient
• Can work independently, use their initiative, and stay organised.

Requirements:

• A DBS check will be required (this will be paid for by the employer)
• Previous experience in care or support roles is desirable but not essential
• Must be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful
