Experienced Maintenance Operative required for immediate start
Permanent position / Part time – 15 hours per week, ideal for someone looking to semi-retire
Accessible SK3 Stockport location
Salary £15 hourly rate
The successful candidate will support the family run business with the servicing, repair and maintenance of all machinery (including but not limited to hoovers, buffing machines, scrubber dryers etc..), PAT testing all company equipment, basic vehicle repairs in addition to completion of various odd jobs on and around the site.
Key responsibilities
• General repairs and maintenance: provide a variety of repair services
• Preventative maintenance: perform routine health checks on equipment and vehicles
• Customer service: interact daily with all team members and clients, providing a professional and friendly service
• Safety compliance: Ensuring that all work is performed according to current safety standards, codes and regulations
• Tools and equipment: maintain and organise a safe and tidy environment
• Problem solving: address and trouble shoot any unexpected issues that may arise during repairs or planned work
Essential skills:
Proven engineering / maintenance background
Must hold full UK driving licence, some travel may be required North West region only
Non-essential skills:
PAT testing, training can be provided
Interview on site at SK3, may be asked to complete practical tasks to demonstrate working knowledge of essential equipment.
