Summary
Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Land & Pre-Construction Coordinator to join us to assist the Land and Pre-Construction Manager to deliver the timely progression of schemes from Bid / Concept / Estimating / Design stage to physical start on site.
Within this pivotal role, you will undertake initial site visits, recording present site conditions and assisting with the coordination and review of bid documents.
You’ll assist in obtaining, and the appraisal of, fee proposals from the supply chain, you will develop briefs and appointments and help develop scheme Designs and Technical solutions for new parcels of land. You'll also assist with the progression through the pre-construction process to achieve a successful and timely start on site.
With excellent communication skills, you’ll assist with developing successful new and existing client relationships by managing the information flow between all parties.
We are looking for someone with a basic understanding of construction materials, methods and technologies, along with an interest in planning techniques and contract documentation. You’ll have good administrative and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook). As this role involves constant learning and development, you should also be willing to undertake an apprenticeship and further training.
