Equans is recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join our team in Hollingworth Academy, OL16 3DR. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is salary of £26,010.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

The shift patterns are as follows -
6:00 - 14:00
10:00 - 18:00
12:00 - 20:00
If the site has after-school lettings booked in the evening shift, changes to 13:00 - 21:00

What you will deliver

* Undertaking general caretaking duties, which include but are not limited to porter services (i.e. deliveries, exam set-ups); reactive cleaning (bodily fluid spillages); general maintenance (changing lamps, replacement ceiling tiles); carrying out of Planned Maintenance activities (Legionnaires checks, door condition checks, light switch checks etc) working in all weathers (litter picking, gritting, leaf removal).
* Carry out opening / closing of the building.
* Regular support to the school to enable its ability to deliver the teaching curriculum. As well as communication with school representatives.
* Undertaking and recording statutory and mandatory planned maintenance duties.
* Logging of reactive maintenance tasks on the Helpdesk, utilising CAFM system to provide updates on work orders.
* Proactively carrying out a daily regime of 'find it fix it' or report it to the helpdesk and ensure it is followed up and fixed within our service level agreement.
* As part of the compliance to statutory duties the individual will undertake and record the testing of such systems as emergency lighting, fire alarm tests and sprinkler tests.
* You will be required to use a computer, mobile phone and technical equipment so previous experience will be a distinct advantage.
* Support in sub-contractor inductions and maintain register of inductions, DBS and RAMS
* Participate in emergency call outs
* Provide supervision/management of cleaning team, including weekly audits and cleaning stock management.
* Ensuring full knowledge of all equipment used on site for cleaning and weekly checks on machines are complete
* Carry out any other duties that may be applicable to the position of a Caretaker.
* To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities required

Areas of work can be changeable, so the individual will need to travel to an Academy or School, upon business requirements. The individual will have relevant practical experience and be able to provide cover or assistance for holidays, sickness and other leave as and when required. The Site Supervisor will also be required to cover for sites that require additional use; community use; and 3rd party lettings, as the premises need caretaking duties provided as part of the PFI service. Shift patterns will vary based on a 40-hour rotational system, between 06:00am to 22:00pm

For this role you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

Who are we looking for?

Previous Caretaking experience

Full Driving Licence

* Be keen, motivated and reliable
* Able to promote good customer relationships
* Have a proven track record of practical maintenance skills
* Have good knowledge of Health and Safety
* Have the ability to follow site and company policies and procedures
* Cover lettings to meet business requirements
