Summary

Transport Customer Service Executive

Stoke-on-Trent (ST1)

Up to £28K DOE

This role is ideal for someone who can handle a fast paced environment, often with challenging situations to deal with. Working within a team of 6, reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for taking ownership of all customer service activities related to transport operations.

Requirements for role:

Pallet network experience
Strong Excel skills
Logistics & Fulfilment experience
Experience in managing relationships across a diverse client base, including both private individuals and corporate entities
Skilled and confident in handling challenging customer issues with fairness and impartiality
Experience with Palletways Software (not essential but highly desirable)
A general overview of the role will be to track delivery queries using internal communication and online platforms, obtaining POD's, dealing with complaints and escalating where appropriate, coordinating with internal departments to resolve issues speedily, monitoring stock against orders and preparing reports.

You'll be based in a modern building in the new part of the Festival Trade Park, working in a small but growing Customer Service team. The team sits in an open-plan office alongside other departments, making it a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Things move quickly here, and with tight deadlines to meet, your efficiency and ability to stay on top of tasks will be key to keeping everything running smoothly.

Own transport preferable (nearest bus stop = 1 mile)

37.5hours per week

Monday - Friday: between 8am-5pm, a typical working pattern would be 8.30am-5pm or 8am-4.30pm.

Annual leave: 28 days (inc. bank holidays) - currently under review and set to be enhanced
