Sous Chef Needed Urgently!
We are seeking a talented and motivated professional to support our client’s Head Chef in creating exceptional dining experiences based in Burton-on-Trent. The ideal candidate has strong kitchen leadership skills, a passion for high-quality, fresh ingredients, and a drive for culinary excellence.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Assist the head chef in menu planning and food preparation for match days, events and daily operations
• Supervise and ensure all team members adhere to food safety and hygiene standards whilst maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Assist with ordering supplies and minimizing waste
• Work closely with front of house team to ensure seamless service
Skills needed:
• Ability to work under pressure and multitasking abilities
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Passion for cooking
• Creativity in menu development
Qualifications required include:
• Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is desirable, but not essential
• Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment
