Job Title: Cherry Picker Operative - Construction Site

Location: Chester

Salary: £17 - £18.50per hour - based on experience
Job Type: Ongoing work

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role


We're currently looking for a skilled and safety-focused Cherry Picker Operative to join our team on a busy construction site. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience operating MEWPs and holding a valid IPAF 3a & 3b license.

You'll play a key role in supporting site operations at height, assisting trades, and ensuring safe and efficient access for installation and maintenance tasks.



Key Responsibilities


Operate cherry pickers (MEWPs) safely and efficiently

Assist with tasks at height including installations, repairs, and material handling


Carry out pre-use equipment checks and report defects


Comply with all site health and safety regulations

Work closely with site supervisors and other trades


Ensure working areas are kept safe and tidy



Requirements
Valid IPAF 3a & 3b license (essential)


Previous experience on construction sites


Familiarity with safe working practices at height


Valid CSCS card
Reliable, punctual, and a team player


Physically fit and confident working at height
