Summary

You will be expected to work as part of a team to monitor and operate all systems within the Control Room in an efficient, proactive and reactive manner. Systems to include CCTV and door-entry control and intercom communications. You will gather evidence of breaches of tenancy, anti-social behaviour and acts of a criminal nature. You will communicate with and assist residents, members of the public and all partners as required.

You will be expected to,

Monitor and operate all systems within the Control Room, including CCTV, door entry systems and intercoms using the relevant operating procedures, Legislation and Codes of Practice.
To liaise, exchange intelligence and actively promote partnerships with the Police, Sandwell Environmental Protection Officers, SMBC Officers and other Enforcement Agencies to ensure the appropriate and targeted use of all systems.
To provide an efficient, appropriate and courteous radio, intercom and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries as they are received to a satisfactory conclusion.
A Level 2 certificate for CCTV Operatives is required for this post.

Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 29.5 hours per week.
