About this Opportunity

An exciting 12-month secondment/fixed term opportunity has arisen to join the Next Generation Talent Team as a Next Generation Talent Partner working directly with a number of divisions across the Group.

This role will focus on working with these divisions and their People Partnering teams to provide strategic emerging talent solutions to support their future business requirements, in addition to enabling the end-to-end delivery of appropriate pipelines inc graduate, undergraduate and apprenticeship programmes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide the aligned divisions with strategic recommendations and solutions through designing and delivering programmes aligned to business units' future skills requirements.

  • Work closely with teams across People & Places to design, attract, recruit and embed emerging talent programmes.

  • Lead and manage the cyclical activity of the emerging talent programmes. Be prepared to take the lead on key projects and lend a hand elsewhere across the team where required - we succeed together!

  • Bring the outside in and provide insight from the external environment, comparisons to peers and industry practices to improve our internal offering to deliver an outstanding experience for all participants on our programmes.

  • Drive insight through data analysis: collating, reviewing and using appropriate MI to make data led recommendations to build new programmes or improve our existing proposition.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to feed into the broader Youth Strategy, including input into Group level strategic papers.

  • Be an ambassador for Next Generation Talent at LBG and play a role in the promotion of the schemes both internally and externally.
