What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 4 class teacher to join our dynamic team at Killinghall CE Primary School. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment for our children. As a class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and supporting the holistic development of each child in your care.
We are looking for someone who is a fantastic, resilient, dynamic classroom practitioner. Someone who is energetic, passionate and able to drive aspirations and 'bring about the best' for all members of our community. We encourage our teachers to inspire and excite children with creative approaches to teaching and learning. Ultimately, we want our teachers to live out our school vision and to ‘strive, share and shine’.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
· Assess pupil progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
· Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and respected.
· Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the overall development and well-being of our children.
· Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of educational trends and best practices.
· Be passionate about primary education and the importance of developing a growth mindset from a young age.
