Summary

Join our Planned Works team and help us deliver improvement projects that make a real difference for our residents!

As a Planned Works Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our planned improvement programmes and net zero commitments.

Working closely with the Planned Works team and Compliance and Planned Works Manager, you will help to coordinate projects, maintain accurate records, and ensure works are delivered efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest service standards.

Our Planned Works Administrator will:

  • Work collaboratively with Stakeholders, contractors and Orwell colleagues to ensure the delivery of all planned works projects in line with the organisation's visions, values and objectives.
  • Support Planned Works Officers to ensure all planned maintenance and net zero works are delivered efficiently and within the required timescales.
  • Monitor and triage the 'planned works' mailbox and incoming calls. Disseminate and distribute information to the relevant person.
  • Liaise with contractors to plan the various stages of project works ensuring that a tenant's needs are considered in the plan.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with tenants and both internal and external stakeholders, with particular emphasis on tenant liaison and communication on all aspects of planned works programmes.
  • Assist with all day-to-day matters relating to the delivery of planned improvement work ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the approved budget and any variations are highlighted.

Our ideal candidate will have…

  • A minimum of 2 years administrative experience.
  • Previous experience of working in a customer facing environment, dealing with difficult and complex situations.
  • Efficient and effective delivery of services and to continuous improvement. Provision of customer-oriented telephone answering service.
  • Competent use of IT systems and databases.
  • Experience using document management systems is desirable.

Person Specification…

  • 5 GCSEs grades 9- 4 or equivalent including English Language and Maths, is essential.
  • Level 3 Business Administration is desirable.
  • Willingness to undertake further relevant training and development.
