We are seeking a highly motivated and creative bilingual Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies that elevate our brand presence across English- and Chinese-speaking markets. This pivotal role will help shape our public persona in the international education sector, support business growth, and engage a diverse audience of students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
1) Social Media & PR Strategy
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business strategy, service offerings, and target client profiles (students and parents) to define social media and PR priorities.
- Tailor messaging for both English and Chinese audiences to drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty, supporting lead generation and conversion (consultation bookings, event sign-ups, application inquiries).
2) Content Creation & Distribution
- Create and manage content for all social platforms (including WeChat, Weibo, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) and other PR materials.
- Publish digital content on schedule to maximize reach and relevance, highlighting education consulting services, success stories (offers, visa approvals, scholarships), institution and program insights, application timelines, and study guidance.
3) Brand Promotion & Engagement
- Represent Tiger International Education at meetings, education fairs, campus events, media interviews, and roadshows to strengthen relationships with prospective students, parents, institutional partners, and key audiences.
- Build and manage communities and private channels, planning interactive initiatives (live Q&A, webinars, targeted updates) to increase brand affinity and conversion.
4) Performance Monitoring & Analysis
- Develop and utilize reporting and analytics tools to track social media performance and evaluate campaign effectiveness and audience response.
- Deliver regular insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize strategy, improve campaign outcomes, and increase conversion rates (e.g., form submissions, event registrations, consultation bookings).
Requirements
Essential
- Fluency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken) to effectively serve diverse client groups (students and parents).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven marketing experience in the education sector (international education consulting preferred), with a track record of successful bilingual social media growth.
- Strong digital marketing skills, with hands-on experience managing major Western and Chinese platforms; capable of creating graphics, short videos, and copy tailored to education topics and tone.
- Excellent analytical ability to interpret data and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of education markets across Western and Asian regions, study abroad trends, and student/parent decision journeys (research, school selection, application milestones, visa and enrollment).
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to professionally represent and advocate for Tiger International Education’s brand values.
