Crynodeb
If not already trained, you will be expected to complete Trust Venepuncture training and lead Glucose Tolerance Test clinics under indirect Supervision. You will act as a chaperone during consultation and perform patient observations, and document. You will lead low risk consultations under the indirect supervision of Midwives, and it is essential to be computer literate to use Trust systems for documentation. Following training, you will lead on pre-op assessment for elective caesarean. You will receive appropriate training to deliver Pregnancy related Public Health advice. You will delegated tasks by the Midwife in charge to include running errands, admin support, and transporting samples. General cleaning of clinical areas will also form part of your role, as clinics are in progress. You will also be expected to escalate concerns to the Midwife in charge.
