What You'll Be Doing:

As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals with a variety of daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

Personal Care
Assisting with washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming, always preserving clients’ dignity and promoting independence.

Medication Support
Prompting or administering prescribed medication (full training provided), and keeping accurate records of dosage and times.

Meal Preparation
Preparing nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs, preferences, or specific health requirements.

Household Tasks
Light cleaning, laundry, tidying up, and helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.

Companionship
Offering emotional support, conversation, and companionship—especially important for clients who live alone.

Mobility Assistance
Helping clients move around their homes or accompany them on walks, appointments, and social activities.

Monitoring Wellbeing
Observing changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition and reporting concerns to supervisors or family members as appropriate.

Documentation & Communication
Maintaining clear and accurate records of care provided and communicating effectively with both clients and the care team.

Requirements:
Female applicants only (Due to personal care nature of the role and in accordance with the Equality Act 2010)
Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car is essential
Right to work in the UK

Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
Previous care experience is a bonus—but not essential as full training is provided
