Summary
We are looking for a Certification Engineer to support 1710 NAS designers in producing safe and complaint aircraft modifications. You will be responsible for managing the compliance evidence required to produce a fully certified modification.
Your role will involve working with mechanical and electrical designers to ensure that they have sufficient well-organised evidence to support their designs.
Your role will involve supporting the Chief Design Engineer, and other specialists to deliver safe, certifiable and operationally effective aircraft modifications. You will assist with requirements analysis, and act as a key advisor on certification matters to both internal teams and external authorities.
As a Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Design Approved Organisation Scheme (DAOS) accredited unit, we deliver assured industry standard aircraft design services. You will be a key part of making sure these designs meet the various defence and civilian standards.
Responsibilities
As a Certification Engineer within our team, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating compliance matrices for aircraft modifications.
Keeping departmental certification documentation up to date.
Developing the Integrate Test Evaluation and Acceptance process for a project, alongside designers.
Managing and developing user requirements for a project.
We'll support you with a team mentor who will guide you in your structured training and professional development.
