We're looking for someone who's passionate about student support, mental health and making college a place where everyone feels safe, head and empowered.
You will: Support students through life's ups and downs with therapeutic interventions, drop-ins and group sessions Help students build confidence, resilience and practical study skills Work with staff, parents and external agencies to remove barriers to learning Manage a caseload of students, including those with EHCPs and SEMH needs) and help them thrive Advocating for wellbeing across the college, whether it's through events, transition support or crisis response
You will need: A recognised qualification in youth work, mentoring, guidance, or a proven track record in this field A calm, empathetic approach and the ability to read situations intuitively Experience supporting students with mental health challenges, including anxiety, ASD and emotional-based school avoidance Confidence in working with multi-agency teams and navigating complex support systems A non-judgemental attitude and a genuine passions for inclusion
You'll be the person students turn to when things feel overwhelming. You'll help them find their feet, stay on track and believe in themselves. You'll be part of a team that's creative, caring and committed to making college a place where wellbeing is a priority, not an afterthought.
