Trainee Field Service Engineer – Learn Plumbing, Electrics & Vending Systems
Are you curious, hands-on, and eager to build a career in a technical field? Do you enjoy problem-solving and learning new skills?
We are looking for Trainee Field Service Engineers to join our growing team and become experts in repairing, maintaining, and servicing vending machines.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to roll up their sleeves, get stuck in from day one, and develop real, practical skills in plumbing, electrics, and machine maintenance – all with full training provided.
What You’ll Do
Learn how to diagnose and repair vending machine faults with support from experienced engineers
Work proactively to prevent issues before they affect customers
Train in our engineers’ workshop, repairing and refurbishing machine components
Deliver stock to customers and assist with installations and servicing
Use Microsoft Office applications to complete reports and communicate with the team
Provide excellent customer service over the phone and by email
Once trained, take responsibility for fulfilling service calls independently
What We’re Looking For
A positive, switched-on attitude and a hunger to learn
Technical aptitude and a logical approach to problem-solving
Good communication skills – you can explain issues clearly and professionally
Ability to work at pace and achieve goals
Full, clean manual UK driving licence with at least 4 years’ driving experience
Willingness to lift and carry equipment safely
