Summary
All general yard duties to include :
Mucking out / keeping yard tidy
Filling water buckets/ haynets
Turning horses in and out from fields
Grooming tacking up
Helping with lessons
Riding available for the right candidate
Training
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Qualifications required
GCSE Level 4/ Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.
Call Haddon Training to discuss if not yet achieved - Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills Maths and English
Skills required
Good basic equine experience
Prospects
Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom
BHS qualifications
Full time employment
Qualification / Standard : ST0166 Equine groom
Duration 12 months
