Your RoleAs a Desktop Infrastructure Analyst, you will:Manage, maintain and support desktop infrastructure solutions, ensuring systems are secure, reliable and meet the needs of the organisation.Provide third-line technical support to colleagues, resolving complex desktop-related issues and contributing to a responsive and effective IT support service.Liaise with and manage third-party suppliers, ensuring service levels are met and that hardware and software solutions are delivered efficiently.Monitor and enhance system performance, security and user experience, while managing costs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. What We Are Looking ForWe’re looking for someone with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem solving. You should have:Knowledge of desktop delivery solutions such as Citrix, VMware Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop, with an understanding of how these technologies support modern workplace environments.Experience deploying and managing desktop services and resources, ensuring systems are efficient, secure and user-friendly.Administration experience with desktop services and cloud infrastructure, including configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting.A solid understanding of networking principles and how they relate to desktop infrastructure, including connectivity, security and performance optimisation.A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as occasional travel may be required to support service delivery across sites.
