Customer Service Manager
Up to £40k per annum, dependant on experience
Monday – Friday / 9am – 5pm
Wrexham

Our client based in Wrexham area is looking to recruit a Customer Service Manager on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Customer Service Manager will be central to providing excellent Customer Service to our client’s UK and export customers. The role will support order processing, stock management and logistics by working across EDI, web-based orders to ensure customers receive their orders when required.

Performance Objectives
• Order Processing & Customer Support
o Download and process orders from EDI, web platforms, and email.
o Book transport and delivery slots via portals or email.
o Liaise with customers regarding shortages, substitutions, or refunds.
o Handle queries from new and existing customers across multiple inboxes.
o Raise credits and sample requests where needed.
• Stock & System Updates
o Check stock availability and work with Production Planning Team and Production Team to resolve shortages.
o Update stock sheets weekly and attend monthly stock meetings.
o Maintain customer portals with product details, delivery dates, and forecasts.
o Process goods-in confirmations and book into Navision once stock arrives.
• Export & Documentation
o Process export orders and manage call-offs with third-party warehouses.
o Prepare and send export paperwork (commercial invoices, certificates, etc.).
o Ensure all international requirements and formats are up to date.
o Send product photos and updates to customers when required.
• Forecasting & Admin
o Update and send monthly forecast templates to customers.
o Input forecasts into Navision and liaise with production on any changes.
o File PODs and paperwork for audit and customer access.
o Order office supplies and support general admin tasks.

Person Specification
• Prior experience in a Customer Service, Sales Administration or Supply Chain role, preferably within a Food Manufacturing Environment.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel. Experience of Navision or similar ERP system preferred.
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach.
