About the role
The Energy Management Team are currently looking for a Project Manager with experience of delivering energy management and decarbonisation projects from initial feasibility right through to handover and across a wide-ranging property portfolio that includes schools, leisure facilities, museums and office accommodation.
The successful candidate will take control of a wide range of projects which will include strategy development, procurement of works, and contract and programme management, whilst providing regular finance and performance updates to senior management and key shareholders.
SCC is currently transitioning to be a data driven organisation and this is an ideal opportunity to join the team to help shape the future of the services we deliver across the council and beyond.
NOTE: This is a fixed-term contract for 2 years.
About you
We’re looking for a degree or equivalent qualified Project Manager with experience of delivering a wide range of projects from concept to completion.
You will also need in depth knowledge of building services and low carbon / renewable technologies, with our ideal candidate having experience of managing retro fit HVAC and solar programmes to complex commercial buildings.
You will have the ability and experience of carrying out detailed technical surveys and feasibility studies, writing reports, and presentations would form key elements of the role, combined with a requirement to be able to undertake detailed analysis of data and survey findings, for example
