Crynodeb
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work at a Mitie client site, carrying out electrical safety checks, PAT testing, planned and call out maintenance and repairs.
You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety, understand and be able to work to building statutory requirements and ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
You should have a full, current, driving licence, be IT literate for record keeping, have good customer service skills, be physically able to carry out the fuller duties detailed in the job description.
The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar, and be qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and18th edition.
Job Description
To undertake routine PPM tasks in accordance to recognised standardsTo undertake reactive repairs as required.To undertake Electrical Installation work as required.To undertake escort duties of Sub-contractors where requiredTo attend training to assist with contract requirementsTo co-operate with other MITIE disciplines for the provision of multi-discipline services where requiredSupport weekly meeting room setups as requiredOn occassion, be available to carry out necessary emergency works outside normal hoursEnsure all documentation is completed correctly for all tasks and reactive tasks are reported and recordedon to the CAFM system.To undertake tasks as instructed by on site FMTo support Mitie team as required.Respond in a timely manner to verbal and written requests.Undertake regular inspections.
QualificationsIndustry recognised Trade Qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC etc)BS7671 18th edition qualificationPrevious experience in the manufacturing sector (Desirable but not essential)Willing to learn and develop new skillsStrong work ethicKeen eye for detailGood verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates a pro-active approachAbility to self manage multiple workloadsIT literateIPAF 3A & 3B (essential)Basic mechanical knowledge (Desirable but not essential)
