Pay: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour (PAYE) / £21.00 - £22.00 per hour (CIS, depending on experience)

We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established property maintenance contractor on a temporary basis, carrying out works across occupied and void social housing properties in Oxford. This role is ideal for a tradesperson confident across a variety of trades, who can deliver a professional service with high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks, including:

    • Carpentry - hanging doors, replacing skirting, fitting kitchen units

    • Basic plumbing - repairing leaks, changing taps or toilets

    • Plaster patching, tiling, painting, and decorating

    • Lock changes and general remedial works

  • Accurately diagnosing and resolving issues while adhering to health and safety guidelines

  • Using a PDA or mobile device to manage and update job information

  • Working respectfully in occupied homes, delivering excellent customer service

Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)

  • Basic DBS check (or willing to obtain)

  • Proven experience across multiple trades within domestic or social housing settings

  • Own tools and experience working to a high standard

  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, professional attitude
