The Best Connection Swindon is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client, GXO Logistics, supporting one of the UKs top frozen food retailers based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent work with great pay and the chance to be part of a professional, high-performing team. Immediate starts available.
Requirements: Two years driving experience will be required for this position. Pay and Hours: Friday - Monday Shifts Various start times are available between 03:00 - 12.00 noon. £19.23 Per Hour - Weekdays PAYE Saturday £24.04 Sunday £28.85 Bank Holiday £28.85 Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for store deliveries across the UK, transporting frozen goods in a temperature-controlled HGV vehicle. Duties will include: Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to various store locations. Ensuring goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition. Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects. Complying with all driving laws, regulations, and company procedures. Ensuring accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
