Working Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day in-office at Glenfield, LE3 8RA; 2–3 days in-office during initial training)
The role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Data Protection Administrator to support compliance across a wide range of service areas. This is a part-time role (up to 20 hours/week) on a 2-month temporary assignment, ideal for someone available to start immediately.
You’ll be responsible for independently reviewing and supporting data protection practices, working closely with managers and internal teams to ensure compliance with legislation. You’ll also manage privacy notices, provide expert advice, and maintain information assets.
The successful candidate will have solid knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the confidence to advise colleagues at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct independent data protection compliance reviews in collaboration with internal teams
Maintain and develop an information asset register system
Support managers in drafting and reviewing privacy and fair processing notices
Provide advice and guidance on data protection queries
Manage and monitor information assets to ensure regulatory compliance
Carry out general administrative duties appropriate to the role
