My client is one of the UKs leading manufacturers of high-precision, complex cast and machined components. Due to business expansion and new projects, they are looking to grow their dedicated team. This is your chance to be part of an advanced machining facility and contribute to world-class engineering. This position will be on a temporary to permanent basis for the successful candidate.
The Opportunity: CNC Machinist Operators
We are currently seeking skilled CNC Machinist Operators to join an experienced machining department. Youll be working with state-of-the-art 3 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines, producing precision components from both castings and solid billets.
This hands-on role involves interpreting technical drawings, running CNC programs, and ensuring every part meets exacting standards through accurate in-process inspection.
Duties and responsibilities: Set up and operate 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machines Load/unload parts and perform detailed deburring Conduct in-process quality checks using micrometers, Verniers, and gauges Log all measurements and inspection results accurately Work from detailed and complex engineering drawings Maintain exceptional quality and attention to detail throughout all tasks Skills required: At least 3 years of CNC machining experience in a high-precision environment Confidence using FANUC, Heidenhain, or Mazatrol controls Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining tolerances Skilled in manual inspection techniques and measurement tools A reliable team player with great attention to detail and the ability to work independently Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.
Pay: £13.00 to 14.00 per hour depending on experience.
